Sports memorabilia from a shuttered downtown casino is back in the public eye at a pop-up store, and an interior-design company is ready to show off its new digs.
A wing joint has set up shop in North Las Vegas, and a mattress retailer has made its debut in two more Southern Nevada locations.
Meanwhile, anime fans have a new place to shop on the Strip.

Chicken wings chain Wingstop launched its newest North Las Vegas location last week.
The owners, brothers Danny and Coby Sonenshine, opened the 1,800-square-foot space Oct. 25 at 5725 Losee Road, near East Ann Road.
The restaurant is open daily between 10:30 a.m. and midnight.
The Dallas-based company was founded in 1994 and offers 11 permanent flavors including original hot, Cajun, Hawaiian and garlic parmesan.

Las Vegas Club Sports Memorabilia Gallery
A pop-up gallery and store dedicated to sports memorabilia from the defunct Las Vegas Club opens Tuesday evening at the Plaza.
The store opens at 7 p.m. and will offer pieces for viewing and purchase, including a signed Michael Jordan North Carolina Tar Heels basketball jersey.
The Plaza will give 10 percent of each sale to UNLV Libraries Special Collections.
Hours will be 3 to 11 p.m. daily beginning Wednesday.

Locally owned retailer Best Mattress welcomed two additional Southern Nevada locations last month.
The Las Vegas-based company opened a 4,400-square-foot Henderson store Oct. 16 at 615 S. Green Valley Parkway, Suite 160, near West Horizon Ridge Parkway.
On the same day, the business opened a 4,000-square-foot North Las Vegas location at 1611 W. Craig Road, Suite 1, near North Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Both stores are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
The company, which sells mattresses and mattress accessories, now has 21 stores in Nevada and Utah.

Event-planning and interior-design company Fresh Wata opens its 50,000-square-foot studio to the public Wednesday.
The space, which also will function as a showroom, office and warehouse, includes a video sculpture installation, themed rooms, a fabrication department and event technology.
The building is at 3905 W. Diablo Drive, Suite 100, near South Valley View Boulevard.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 2,554-square-foot store offering anime and gamer merchandise made its debut Oct. 1.
The business, which also has a Town Square location, sells Nintendo products and anime collectibles.
The Miracle Mile Shops location is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays.
