Seafood restaurants are ready to make a splash at properties across the Las Vegas Valley.
A California chain specializing in “ocean to table” eats has arrived at Aria.
Meanwhile, one oyster joint has debuted while another is in the works, and a modern west valley restaurant shutters.

Herringbone
Aria welcomed Southern-California inspired seafood restaurant Herringbone last week.
The business, which debuted Dec. 28, promises an “ocean-to-table concept” similar to the feel at the company's restaurants in California.
The dining spot emphasizes that its lounge, live music and cocktails create a social dining experience, and the restaurant pairs “pristine seafood and responsibly sourced meat with Farmers Market produce,” according to a news release and the restaurant's website.
The lounge opens at 11 a.m., and lunch is 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dinner is 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Sedona
West valley dining spot Sedona closed the morning of New Year's Eve.
The business, at 9580 W. Flamingo Road, near the 215 Beltway, was sold, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.
Further information on the sale was not immediately available.
Sedona was in business for 13 years.

Brigg's Oyster Co. debuted Nov. 23 at Suncoast.
The 1,250-square-foot space features an exhibition kitchen and a menu with items including seafood gumbo, lobster rolls and seafood Cobb salad.
Seasonal oyster selections are also available.
The restaurant design includes a chalkboard entryway, polished wood and metal elements, mirrors, black-and-white artwork, and a variety of seating options, according to a Boyd Gaming news release.
Hours of operation are 4:30 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 4:30 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Oyster Bar
The Oyster Bar, a Station Casinos concept, is expected to open at Santa Fe Station this month.
The eatery, which will offer seating for 21 guests and an open kitchen, is scheduled to open Jan. 25.
Guests can pick menu items including gumbo, clam chowder and fresh oysters on the half shell.
The business will be open for dinner 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Multiple Station Casinos properties host Oyster Bar restaurants, which originated 20 years ago at Palace Station.
