Nevada State Police Officer Daniel Gordon has been elected president of the Nevada Police Union (NPU), which represents Nevada’s highway patrol troopers, parole and probation officers, fire marshals, state detectives, game wardens, park rangers, agricultural police and university and capitol police. “I am honored and humbled to take on this most meaningful post with NPU,” Gordon said. “I’m excited to help lead the union to help our members succeed through continued advocacy for better pay and working conditions for Nevada’s state police.”

Golden Entertainment, Inc. announced promotions of gaming and hospitality veterans Jeremy Jenson as the vice president and general manager of Aquarius and Edgewater Casino Resorts; Darin Yunek as vice president and general manager of Arizona Charlie’s Boulder and Decatur; and Eliot Ripoll as vice president and general manager of Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino, Lakeside Casino & RV Park and Gold Town Casino.

Clark County Manager Yolanda King announced her retirement after 33 years of service to Clark County.
