Las Vegas home prices climb for sixth straight month

Las Vegas home prices are climbing up for the sixth straight month as inventory remains tight. Officials with the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors say Wednesday that the median price of a single-family home sold in July was $133,000.

After buying Village Square in late 2011, the shopping and office center’s new owners quickly set to work recruiting new tenants, adding 10 businesses since the start of the year. Now the owners are looking to build on that momentum by launching a wide-reaching renovation.

Las Vegas area home values expected to rise over the next year

Las Vegas Valley home values have sunk as low as they are expected to go and are poised to rise faster locally than nationally.
