We envision a Nevada where every child has the opportunity to unlock their potential and thrive in school and in life. Together with our partners and supporters, we are building a future where relationships and resources are building blocks for students to be successful.

Our Goals

To expand into more schools across Nevada, while deepening the quality of support so every student can succeed. We are focused on building sustainable funding, strengthening partnerships, and fostering a culture of innovation and care to ensure long-term impact.

Fundraising Opportunities

Communities In Schools of Nevada accepts donations year-round. We invite partners to invest in our impact at any level. Donors can support by sponsoring a CIS of Nevada school, sponsoring a CIS Resource Room, joining our All In For Kids monthly giving program, and more. Our largest annual fundraiser, Today for Tomorrow, takes place every fall in Las Vegas and has a fun theme each year. CIS also hosts our Power Within event in the spring, which honors students and partners. Our annual Fill The Bus school supplies drive helps us collect school supplies and basic needs every July, replenishing our resource rooms inside our 117 schools throughout Nevada. All events are listed on our website with opportunities to get involved.

Volunteer Opportunities

CIS of Nevada hosts a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the year. From helping with our Fill The Bus school supply drive, to speaking with one of our CIS Academy classes about your career as a mentor, call or email us to find out how you can get involved!

Giving Opportunities

Any gift is always welcome. School supplies, hygiene items, new clothing, or a cash donation can help empower our students to be successful in school. Please reach out to us to see how you can get involved. We partner with individuals and businesses to showcase our collective impact.
