Volunteer Opportunities

Hope In Action November 23 event: Held on UNLV’s campus, Hope Means Nevada will unite passionate individuals, community organizations and mental health advocates who believe in the transformative power of hope. With multiple ways to get involved and make a difference, participants can engage in workshops, hands-on volunteer projects, and a mental wellness walk.
Community Exchange and Monthly Virtual Meeting: Gather with Hope Means Nevada and statewide mental wellness advocates virtually on the last Wednesday of every month at 9 a.m. for a community exchange. This meeting brings together state leaders, mental health organizations, advocates and more. Participants share relevant mental health information, upcoming events, and opportunities for connection, furthering our collective efforts to eliminate teen suicide.
HMN Teen Committee: Born out of the pandemic in April 2020, the Hope Means Nevada Teen Hope Network provides a safe space for youth to share ideas, utilize resources, and discover valuable information. This network supports and empowers teens to live hopeful lives through compassionate initiatives.
HMN Event Committee: We are planning for Hope in Action 2024 and welcome volunteers passionate about mental health advocacy and volunteerism in Nevada. Join us in creating impactful events that foster hope and healing.
Hope Rocks initiative: The Teen Hope Network organizes teens to paint river rocks with messages of hope, friendship, love, and acceptance, then place them in parks around the Las Vegas Valley. This project aims to raise awareness of mental health issues and spread positivity throughout the community.
