Our Mission
To improve community health and wellness through fundraising and relationship building for Dignity Health–St. Rose Dominican Hospital. St. Rose’s mission is to make the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all. We serve all in need, regardless of religious affiliation or ability to pay.
Our Vision
A healthier future for all, inspired by faith, driven by innovation and powered by our humanity.
Our Goals
The Foundation secures resources for Southern Nevada’s only not-for-profit, faith-based hospital, which annually provides health care and community health outreach to around 260,000 Nevadans and support to over 40,000 pediatric patients. Through the Foundation’s efforts with caring donors, St. Rose purchases equipment, expands facilities, provides high-quality health care, and offers preventative community health programs. The Children’s Miracle Network partners exclusively in southern Nevada with St. Rose to raise funds for equipment, charity care, and health education for children in St. Rose Hospitals.
Fundraising Opportunities
Donors can support St. Rose through restricted or unrestricted giving, annual gifts, and major or planned gifts. With so many different ways to give, you can focus on what is most important – making a difference with your charitable gift. Whether it’s supporting crucial medical treatments, honoring your caregiver, providing education and health outreach, state of the art technology or improving the environment at St. Rose, your gift to St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation could make an important difference in the lives of patients in our community.
Volunteer Opportunities
At St. Rose, our 200+ volunteers unselfishly give of their time and talent. Volunteers are a vital part of providing care to our community. Opportunities include:
• Helping at the Foundation gala and golf tournament fundraisers.
• Supporting Community Health programs by providing seniors in our Helping Hands of Henderson program with food deliveries and rides to medical appointments, grocery stores and pharmacies.
• Supporting our quarterly New Mama Care Kits Assembly Day, where we put together supplies and information for hundreds of new low-income mothers.
• Serving as a Senior Peer Counselor, helping people 50-plus work through challenges, recognize their strengths, and improve their quality of life.
• Serving as a Medicare Assistance Program counselor, helping Medicare beneficiaries to make informed decisions to meet their healthcare needs.
• Volunteering in the hospital at the front reception desk or in the emergency department, or through pet therapy, office work or staffing The Caring Cart.
