A new lawsuit claims the owner of the closed Roadhouse casino in Henderson interfered with and blocked the proposed sale of the property for $14 million in 2007. Creekside Holdings Inc. filed suit last month against Roadhouse owner Robert McMackin and his company.

Attorneys for the investor, Mali Nachum, said in court papers filed Tuesday that Beso at the Crystals mall was "operating at a huge profit margin" while she and her husband Ronen Nachum were managing the restaurant and Eve nightclub.

Homebuilding giant Pulte Home Corp. has agreed to pay $475,000 and improve its lending practices to settle an investigation of deceptive trade practices by the Nevada Attorney General's Office. In papers filed Friday in Clark County District Court in Las Vegas, Pulte didn't admit wrongdoing but nevertheless agreed to the settlement to close a probe that was launched in 2009.
