For Cannabis Compliance Board, downtime is always a month away

It began with 44 employees and will grow to 93 by the middle of next year.  “This investment is a recognition that the state sees great benefit and importance in a well-regulated cannabis industry,” says Tyler Klimas, who was appointed executive director of the board in September 2019.

In March of 2020, at the start of the pandemic, Jaswant Tony’s IT company was contracted to provide services to a local medical lab, helping with its technology needs. "I discovered that the lab’s information management system — or LIMS — was terribly inefficient, and after some research, I found it to be true for the bulk of labs across the country," he said. It inspired him to launch GoMeyra.
