Corner Bakery Cafe coming to Las Vegas

A San Francisco Bay area restaurant franchisee is bringing Corner Bakery Cafe to Southern Nevada.

Anil Yadav, chief executive of Fremont, Calif.-based JIB Management, plans to open seven Corner Bakery stores in Las Vegas and 16 in Seattle over the next seven years, Corner Bakery reported today.

The fast-casual eatery offers sandwiches, salads, soups and baked treats such as whoopie pies, brownies and dessert bars.

Yadav’s company owns and operates 221 Jack in the Box eateries, 35 Denny’s and six Sizzlers in Northern California and Texas.

According to Corner Bakery, Yadav is the largest Jack in the Box franchisee in the country and the largest Denny’s franchisee in California.

Corner Bakery has 166 company-owned and franchised locations in 17 states and Washington, D.C., but none in Nevada.
