UGG store, steakhouse open in Las Vegas; downtown bar shutters

A bank, shoe store, steakhouse and indoor play center for kids all opened in the Las Vegas Valley this week.

Plus: Another Downtown bar has closed its doors.

    • UGG | Las Vegas Premium Outlets North, Suite 2201, 795 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas

      The boot company opened in the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North July 23. In addition to footwear, the 3,619-square-foot outlet store offers customers a variety of handbags, accessories and loungewear.

      Open: Monday - Saturday 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m.- 8 p.m.

    • Edge Steakhouse | 3000 Paradise Road, Las Vegas

      The fine dining restaurant, which puts a modern twist on the traditional steakhouse, is set to open at the Westgate Las Vegas on Tuesday.

      “Edge Steakhouse is a proven, award-winning steakhouse that will be a wonderful addition to the amenities available to guests at Westgate Las Vegas,” CEO and Founder of Westgate Resorts David Siegel said. The menu will feature fresh fish and seafood as well as top quality aged prime steaks. Nick Lees will serve as executive chef.

    • Kids Quest Inc. | 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson

      The Green Valley Ranch Resort will welcome the family-owned, supervised children’s entertainment center Saturday.

      “This is an outstanding amenity to add to our current entertainment offerings here at Green Valley Ranch Resort,” resort General Manager Carol Thompson said.

      The center will provide supervised care to children ages 2-and-a-half to 12 years. Features such as an arts and crafts area and an indoor play structure known as the Quest will help keep children busy.

      Bunkhouse Saloon

      The downtown Las Vegas live music venue, bar and restaurant closed its doors July 20.

      A post on the bar’s Facebook page reads, “On behalf of our staff, management, and production team we would like to thank every artist who graced our stage and every person who visited us for a show or a cold beer.”

      In 2013, the Bunkhouse was purchased by the Downtown Project for $1.4 million and underwent renovation before it reopened in August of last year.
