Las Vegas advertising pioneer Letizia launches new venture

A pioneer in Las Vegas TV advertising has partnered with one of the nation's largest digital marketing companies on a new venture.

Tom Letizia's new company, The Letizia Agency, focuses on developing digital advertising and marketing for clients in all sizes of businesses. The agency was launched Sept. 1 in partnership with Native Rank, a digital-oriented marketing firm based in Denver.

"There was a time not long ago when 100 percent of my business was traditional advertising — TV, radio and newspaper," Letizia said in a release. "Today, our mix is 50 percent digital and the remainder traditional.

"In order to win for our clients in the advertising world today, you must be using these e-commerce tools effectively. Our partner Native Rank has developed strategies that will enable us to be a leader in online advertising, not only in Las Vegas but nationwide."

Native Rank CEO George Avery said The Letizia Agency is poised to become one of the top advertising agencies in the nation.

"With the 2016 elections approaching, we are excited to use a blend of Native Rank's technology and Mr. Letizia's experience to offer candidates something nobody else can."

Letizia got his start in the advertising business in 1971 and immersed himself in broadcast marketing, becoming a familiar on-air voice and partnering in three radio stations and one TV station. He also managed six successful mayoral races, including for current Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and former Mayor Oscar Goodman.
