2nd Annual Novel Event and Champagne Brunch

Kiwanis Club of Neon Lights today announced Early Bird registration will be closed at the end of business today PST. Registration will be open until March 7th, 2017. On Saturday, March 11 2017, Kiwanis of Neon Lights will hold the 2nd Annual Novel Event and Champagne Brunch at Las Vegas Country Club in partnership with Vegas PBS Ready to Learn. The goal is focused on supporting the distribution of 75,000 new books per year to kids in town. Kiwanis Neon Lights President Marcy Farris said “I’m excited for my Giving Back Club - Kiwanis of Neon Lights. We are blessed with 3 local Authors; Oscar Goodman "Being Oscar: From Mob Lawyer to Mayor of Las Vegas", Sean Hoade "Tesla Trilogy", Willi Baer "The Corksuckers". Of course we are honored to have our event Emcee by Sherry Swensk from "8 News Now".

Along with local celebrity authors the event will feature opportunity drawings, silent auctions and raffle drawings geared to raising additional funds for Vegas PBS Ready to Learn project. “This has grown into a wonderful event filled with great fundraising and we’re excited this project has become our signature event for years to come” – said Chairperson Michelle Dawson. This is Dawson’s 2nd year heading this fundraising project and planning for next year event is already in progress.
