Goodwill of Southern Nevada is adding two retail stores and relocating another.

The nonprofit group, which sells low-priced used clothing, furniture and other goods, said today it will open a new store at Lake Mead Boulevard and Civic Center Drive in North Las Vegas and one at Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Bermuda Road in the south valley.

It also will move a store from Warm Springs Road and Stephanie Street in Henderson a mile south to Stephanie and American Pacific Drive.

The three new locations are all about 16,000 square feet and are expected to open next spring, giving Goodwill 16 retail locations in Southern Nevada.

Developers will build the new shops from scratch, and Goodwill plans to lease them. The group is scheduled to hold groundbreaking ceremonies this week and next.

Besides its retail operations, Goodwill offers job training. The group says it helped more than 2,000 people find work last year.
