Las Vegas pre-owned home prices dipped in May from the previous month but were higher than the same time a year ago, a new report shows.
The median sales price of single-family homes in Southern Nevada last month was $211,250, down 0.6 percent from April but up 8.3 percent from May 2014, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
Buyers picked up 2,752 single-family homes in May, essentially unchanged from April but down 2.6 percent from a year ago.
Meanwhile, there were 7,133 single-family homes listed for sale but without offers at the end of May. That was down 2.2 percent from April but up 7.8 percent from a year ago.
The GLVAR reports data from its listing service, which largely comprises previously owned homes.
