A new cafe is adding Parisian flare to the Venetian as the Wynn swaps one Mediterranean seafood spot for another. Fans of sports and the outdoors will welcome two new shops Friday, and a country music venue has been reintroduced to the Las Vegas Valley's nightclub scene.

Paris Baguette Café and Bakery
A new two-story eatery featuring French baked goods debuted Oct. 18 at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.
Paris Baguette Café and Bakery offers pastries and cakes, sandwiches, coffees and other beverages, according to its website.
The 4,397-square-foot Las Vegas location is the chain's 45th store in the United States.
The business is open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday.

The North Face
Outdoor apparel and equipment retailer The North Face is scheduled to debut Friday at the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets.
The 6,000-square-foot store is at 525 S. Grand Central Parkway, near West Bonneville Avenue.
The international chain is known for its recreation and fitness outerwear as well as its outdoor activity equipment.
Hours of operation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare/Costa di Mare
Mediterranean seafood restaurant Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare at the Wynn closed Oct. 18, reopening a day later as Costa di Mare.
The new restaurant keeps a similar dining theme with "fresh Mediterranean seafood and Italian cuisine," according to its website.
Bartolotta debuted along with the hotel in 2005.
This July, a news release announced that chef Mark LoRusso would be replacing chef Paul Bartolotta.
Costa di Mare is open nightly for dinner from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

Dick's Sporting Goods
Dick's Sporting Goods will open its second Nevada location Friday at the Fashion Show mall.
The new location will include "Nike and Under Armour shops, athletic and outdoor apparel and footwear, and the latest gear for team sports, fitness, camping, hunting and fishing," according to a news release.
During its three-day grand opening celebration, the business will open at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and it will open 9 a.m. Sunday.
Standard operating hours are expected to differ from those hours, according to the company's website.

Stoney’s Rockin’ Country
Stoney's Rockin' Country held its grand reopening Oct. 16 at Town Square.
The 19,000-square-foot nightclub, which hosts line dancing, beer pong and mechanical bull riding, held its soft opening about a month ago.
The business also includes 2,000 square feet of dance floor space and a 570-square-foot performance stage.
Stoney's Rockin' Country is located at 6611 Las Vegas Blvd South, Suite 160, near West Sunset Road.
It opens at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
