Tao Restaurant

Tao — one of the hottest restaurant/nightclubs destination anywhere — continues to be the highest grossing restaurant in the country, due mostly to drink sales. It features Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine served in a beautiful eastern-influenced setting that includes waterfalls, century-old wood and stone, a hand-carved 20-foot-tall Buddha and an infinity pool full of Japanese carp. Tao's entertainment complex includes an ultralounge, a nightclub and a rooftop pool. And although it sprawls about 60,000 square feet, it's often packed with wall-to-wall people.
The "nightlife will probably always overshadow Tao’s restaurant operations, though chef Mike Armstrong runs a tight ship and pushes out stellar food," says Brock Radke, Las Vegas Weekly restaurant reviewer. Radke ranks Tao Restaurant at No. 16 on his list of the 20 most important restaurants in Las Vegas.
Tao's restaurant was recently named by dining website OpenTable.com among the top U.S. restaurants.
