Rosemary’s Restaurant on West Sahara closes after 12 years

Rosemary’s Restaurant, a favorite among Las Vegas locals, is closing its doors today after 12 years of service.

A representative for the restaurant didn’t give a reason for the closure but confirmed the restaurant is closed as of today. The restaurant’s website already has been taken down.

Rosemary’s, 8125 W. Sahara Ave., opened in May 1999 and was owned by chefs Michael and Wendy Jordan. The restaurant has received five-star ratings on several restaurant review websites.

The restaurant made headlines in October 2008 when OJ Simpson was seen at Rosemary’s having drinks the night before he was found guilty on 11 felony charges and one misdemeanor related to an altercation at Palace Station over Simpson’s memorabilia.

  1. There's always a back story. Granted it wasn't Vintner Grill, it was still one of the best inner city local restaurants. They should take this time to relocate to Town Square. That manufactured happiness mecca is in need of a real restaurant with real food that doesn't involve a chain. Best of luck to them.
