Aliante Station hotel-casino in North Las Vegas on Tuesday reported a second-quarter profit, as revenue from the casino, hotel, restaurants and bars improved. The 202-room property cost $662 million to develop and opened in late 2008. It was spun off to investors in its debt last year as part of the Station Casinos Inc. bankruptcy. Station Casinos has continued to manage the property.

Affinity Gaming sees improved revenue in Southern Nevada

Bellagio spending $40 million to renovate rooms at Spa Tower

Bellagio announced today that it will remodel all 928 rooms and suites in the resort’s Spa Tower beginning Aug. 19, 2012.

The Bellagio is remaking 928 rooms and suites on the Las Vegas Strip, with some becoming available as early as next month. The $40 million project will begin next week at the Spa Tower of the Las Vegas casino-resort and is scheduled to be completed by December.

CBRE brokerage vows to remain competitive in gaming
