Shame. That is the one thing I would look forward to at the Plaza.
Let's hope TI does not turn into the Frontier. That place was pretty ratty its last several years. ..especially the rooms.
I say we find a new picture of Adelson. Surely whatever that bandage on his forehead is covering has healed by now.
I have been long hauled more than once. I brought it up to one cab driver and he just laughed.
Since the longhauling is an ongoing problem, I say screw 'em. Run the monorail out to the airport. Those cabs have been given many chances to clean up their act.
The Riviera and Circus Circus could survive if they maintain a reputation for clean rooms, tidy properties and employees who give a rat's a&*.
As I recall, one of the Sahara's problems was run-down rooms (they did manage to remodel some but it came too late) and unsanitary conditions.
It's too bad they couldn't get the monorail to make a stop closer to Riviera/Circus Circus.
Oldest story in the book. The same thing happened in my company. I finally left. I am happy to say the young, buxom hunnys this guy hired are driving the company to bankruptcy. He's a fool and about to lose his job. Too bad he is taking the company with him.
If you think the vegas casinos are smoky, try Singapore. Almost unbearable.
It's true their casinos are new and modern, but they have a much higher tolerence for dirt and smoke in that part of the world. All of their casinos are dirty and smokey but patrons don't seem to mind.

It's a nice place to walk around or have dinner but a rep for being tight, tight, tight for slot players. I play $1 and higher slots and get killed at Cosmo plus the rewards program is a joke. If I play several hund. at MGM Grand or Ceasars, I get all kinds of room offers. I have recieved -0- from Cosmo.
